If you want a unique speakeasy experience, visit this place! The one downside is the cost of their tastings ($20). The spirits themselves are various takes on moonshine. The location itself is one of the nicest I've seen anywhere. Worth a stop.

This is a great up and coming company with great products. Please visit them and you will know why.
I'm not really a whiskey guy, but I can see the appeal of this place. It's designed like an eccentric speakeasy. For $20, you get a sampling of 6 standard whiskeys (or 6 beer infused whiskeys). The bartenders are very well informed and can answer all your liquor related questions. You can purchase bottles here as well. Apparently the owners come from a family of bootleggers (from Prohibition times) and Onyx was the password to get into their original speakeasy, decades ago.
