I don’t recommend living here for the following reasons: 1. High turn over in the management office. 2. Little to no communication from the management office 3. Garage doors are always breaking. Garage space is always under construction. Garage smells extremely bad from the trash. 4. AC was broken during the hottest weeks. It was over 80 degrees in my apartment. 5. I am extremely concerned about privacy practices at Onyx Apartments, and I feel compelled to warn others. The leasing agent, Ivan, actually started his response to my concerns with the words: “We actually get this quite a bit.” Frankly, that statement alone was alarming because it suggests this is not an isolated concern. We had a very disappointing experience attempting to tour this property. We arrived to tour with a confirmed appointment. When we got there, another party was there to tour (not a confirmed appointment). We were understanding and offered reasonable solutions, including letting the other group tour with us or moving quickly so the leasing agent could help them next. A strong warning about why you should not live at Onyx before you consider signing a lease. This is from a current resident. I'm writing this review out of the hope that Onyx Edina, who is owned by a corporate company called Sentinel, will be accountable for their business practices that have caused a lot of grief and frustration over the past two years as a resident.
