I worked with Dr. Avery for about 10 months and it incredible. I came in with severe shoulder mobility issues which was inhibiting strength growth and she taught me exercises and stretches that gave me range of motion I didn’t believe I could have. She is a very caring and personable individual but also tough which is the perfect combination for a physical therapist. Really grateful for what she was able to help me accomplish.
Are you tired of nagging injuries? Not sure where to turn? Turn to doug and his team. As a combat sport athlete my body is constantly being assaulted. And at 42 years old Doug and his team have kept me at the top of my game. Don't wait for it to get worse just make the call and get on the table.
I’ve had a great experience with Onward over the last two years or so! Doug has helped me work through a couple of different joint issues and also recover from a major surgery. It has been so nice to have someone who can treat more acute issues but then can also follow me over a longer period of time to help me as problems crop up. I have been able to move from largely sedentary after a baby to walking, gardening, and now swimming and weightlifting again. It is so nice to feel good and move again!
I came to Doug last week with pain in my hip that had been going on for about 6 weeks. I was unable to run at the time and pretty discouraged about that. Doug immediately got to the root of my problem! It's hip impingement and he got me right on a solid plan. I began a return to running program the next day and I'm very encouraged by the progress!
