This place has an unbeatable location and huge balconies. Renovated units are nice with east views of every chicago landmark (Hancock center, Wrigley building, Tribune tower, Trump tower, marina city).
The location can’t be beat, the views are incredible, and the amenities are always clean and well maintained. Staff and management are professional and quick to help, which makes the building feel really well run. Great spot for downtown living.
I have lived here for three summers, and every summer the AC does not work until July. These units don’t have windows that you can put an AC unit in, so there is no way to get air. It is consistently over 80 degrees in my unit. Every single year there is an issue with the AC and they drag their feet fixing it. It is absolutely miserable in the summer and there is poor communication from management. Also, it is $2.75 just to wash one load and another $2.75 to dry a load. This is the worst condo my wife and I have ever lived in. I have lived all over Chicago. The Managment here is completely careless. There is no service elevator ever available to you not to mention they close down the regular elevators on a daily basis. If you email the Managment Office, if they decide to get back to you, maybe it’s a couple weeks later. Rebar wire hanging from our balcony after they drilled into it they told my friend who is a neighbor that he’s not even allowed on his balcony anymore. So you can imagine th... read more
