I’ve been here for 9 hours just to be told that my wife’s abdomen problems cause couldn’t be found, I spent more time here than my job, and sometimes I work 11 hour shifts. A total waste of time and energy, I can’t express this enough but to get real care you need to wait at least 7+ hours.
Enough said. Medical bill was crazy. Over 10K AFTER my wife gave you her Tricare info. Still sent her to collections because you had the wrong number written down. Thankfully insurance helped when they saw the bill so now we only owe 2K to collections but that's pretty miserable. Could've verified contact info or just sent the bill to insurance per request.
WOW!!! This place has 1.7 stars!!!! If I would’ve known that before my visit, coupled with my poor experience today, I would’ve NEVER bothered coming here. I went to the emergency department at Onslow Memorial Hospital because I was experiencing shallow breathing and shortness of breath. Given my family history of fatal heart attacks and my ongoing cancer treatment, I wasn’t willing to take chances with my health. Most awful waste of 5 hours for my wife who is ill just to have nothing answered about what is wrong with her. We had to tell the front desk to remove her iv just so we could leave and go somewhere else that can manage and disclose information for patients better. Don't go here.......for anything emergency related at least. Just to add, I was a corpsman and have never seen such a dysfunctional er system in my life.
