I’ve known the President of Onofrio Construction for over 20 years. We served in the Marine Corps together. His approach in the Corps and in his company is direct and no nonsense. I hadn’t ever needed their services until a few years when his team came out to repair a water leak over my kitchen window. The leak was being caused by a poorly installed gutter. This is a very dishonest construction company, they do shoddy work, and do not honor warranty repairs. They are one of the contractors for a community where I own a home. They have repaired a water line in the common area of my home 5 times this summer and have failed to properly repair the pinhole leak, and have caused other leaks in the area due to their haphazard approach to plumbing repair - not to mention the amount of water that has been wasted due to their negligence. Had a time scheduled for a hole in my roof. Called me a few hours before to reschedule because something more important came up. I asked them to reschedule at least for the next day since it was raining into my bedroom. Was told she could not because she was already booked, it didn't matter that I was booked 1st.
