This is not a good bank for seniors and savers. I have no regard for a bank who offers almost zero interest rates on cd and savings instruments. I spoke to the branch manager Vineeta 2x on the matter..but she did not care to retain a major depositor...i am shifting funds elsewhere.
This place is horrible. Once First Citizens Bank took over my One West Bank I've had nothing but all of these ridiculous little issues. For example, with your savings account they charge a ridiculous $5 "CALCULATED SERVICE CHARGE TYPE 64". This for 'maintenance' is what the representative. Maintenance what? I've NEVER EVER been charged for a Savings Account in all of my decades of having a Savings Account. Ihello. Merry Christmas to everyone there at the good ole Manhattan Beach branch location! I just got off the phone with a very affable delightful lady who told me my balance. I feel really guilty about not properly saying good bye and Merry Christmas. Please forgive me for what I felt was a rude goodbye in which I just said thank you and bye. Please let this lady know I am really sorry for my disrespectful behavior Please enjoy your Christmas with all the trimmings and festivities. Merry Christmas once again.
By far one of the friendliest banks I’ve done business with. All their employees are very knowledgeable and kind. There is never a line and they are always quick. I never dread heading to my bank.
