I am a regular client. I love the Tai chi classes!
I can understand people having high standards, but I find the criticisms I read about this gym to be unfounded. From the cleaning staff to the manager, everyone works hard every day. Whether it’s Jessica the receptionist, Mike the GM, or Ruth and Clark, I feel everyone contributes a great deal to this facility. The gym is currently undergoing renovations and it’s an absolute mess. Same amount of people, much less space. I’ve been working out here for a few months now and the etiquette here is just as bad as other Germantown gyms. NO ONE puts their weights back even though the staff ensured us that it wouldn’t be an issue upon joining. For the love of god, please fix the 3 cable machines that are all right next to each other downstairs. There’s literally no space to walk around them. I’ll be using one side of the cable and then a person accidentally hits me with their arm while they’re using the cable behind me, due to the lack of space.
Not enough wipe down stations, congested walking space, no deadlift jacks, turf area is congested and unusable for anything but stretching. Under renovation so has potential but has fundamentals to fix.
