I had an extremely disappointing experience with O’Neill’s Towing. I was overcharged, with the invoice stating an additional $125 for labor on top of the $125 non-consensual towing fee mandated in Connecticut. There was no clear breakdown of the labor costs, and they insisted on cash payment only. Despite this, they still charged me tax, which feels suspicious considering cash payments are often used to avoid reporting income. This practice is not only unethical but also likely illegal.
