I brought my mother here for assistance with documenting her bilateral osteoarthritis for her employer. The doctor was extremely dismissive, stating he 'doesn't deal with that stuff' and told us it was an FMLA issue. This is factually incorrect. FMLA is for taking time off; the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) is for staying at work with reasonable accommodations.
