Someone is going to get hurt or worse using their dust collectors. They will delete any negative reviews on their site. I was told by them on the phone the exploding units have been a problem. The fan blew through a wall. I have been leaving reviews for 2 years now and they delete them the same day. They sent me all the parts to fix as it was still under warranty and it still doesn’t work correctly. After the explosion the smart boost stopped working. Terrific experience in every aspect of getting a new vac system for my shop. Scott was patient and helpful in sales. The unit shipped right away, was packaged such that it could withstand a tornado. The unit assembled moderately easily. It is way more powerful than the JET system I previously had and is much more quiet. Built with serious metal and components. Huge difference from the high production models.
I've owned a mini gorilla for a few years, and I've had some issues with it. Both times, Adam took care of it immediately. He sent out replacement warranty parts, and was more than helpful talking about the issues on the phone, trying to diagnose what could have went wrong. Bad things happen sometimes. What separates the excellent companies from the poor is how the company supports their customers when something goes wrong. I'll be an Oneida air customer for life now. If you're not a commercial account placing a million-dollar order you're not worth their time and and their "service" to you will suffer accordingly. I first ordered from them in June '21, don't recall any problems then. This time (March '23) there have been multiple serious problems. Their website "crashed" and refused payment every time I remitted (probably because my order totaled less than five figures) so I called them. Fantastic customer service!! And great products!! I'm a woodworker and will definitely be coming back to Oneida for more dust collection stuff.
