"Two retired chemists establish business making products from homegrown plants" sounds like the tagline for a Breaking Bad sequel. But don't worry - it's just lavender. Honestly, this place was awesome. If you like natural fragrances, this is the place for you. You step out of the car into this idyllic patch of herbs, bushes, and wildflowers. We had a very pleasant and informative visit to Onederings Lavender Farm. We learned the history of the farm and business, along with details of the many products that they sell. The fresh made lavender & herb iced tea was a welcome treat!
Checked out this lavender farm to compare to another I visited. The owners here are THE BEST. I was still able to easily collect lavender in July, however, they highly recommend coming in June as the bushes are blooming most and are particulary scenic then. They also have an extensive herb garden and currently allows folks to cut herbs at no cost. Truly awesome people here. Definitely returning next June....with friends and the grands.
A very well run & beautiful place! Lovely owners with a cute gift shop & cafe inside. Can’t recommend enough!
