We were very dissapointed. – My husband and I always love to go out to eat and try new restaurants. We were excited for our date and to try One Twenty Six. It sounds like the patio is nice, but we went there in Feb. so not an option. The cost of the food was over priced for what you get. We have had many cheese plates here and in Europe and were disappointed to only get 2 pieces of cheese, one was so hard we couldn't even cut it, it wasn't appropriate for a cheese plate. Always Delicious – I really enjoy eating here. It's located right in downtown Iowa City on the corner of Washington and Dubuque. The food is always delicious. If I eat here for lunch I almost always order the Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich and if I eat here for dinner I normally order the Shrimp Etouffe with Sausage and Chicken.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere – My husband and I really enjoy coming here for dates. I love the atmosphere here and if it's nice out, we love to sit on the patio. The food is always great and there is a nice selection to choose from. They have a great wine list and you won't ever leave unsatisfied.
Gotta Try It – I've only been here twice since my son started going to the University of Iowa, however, I enjoy eating here when I come to Iowa City. Not only do they have delicious food and a great wine list but the staff is friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.
Worth A Try – My husband and I enjoy eating here. We try to come here frequently throughout the spring/summertime. Our server is always friendly and knowledgeable and the food is always good. I like to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather when it's nice out. If you sit inside, the atmosphere is nice but sometimes it can be too noisy. Great Location The parking is not the best but it is right in the heart of the ped mall so you can expect as much. They have a great wine selection and offer specials during the week days. Try it out on a date.
