Beware. They charged $340 travel time from Orono to Ellsworth area for simple two hours work cost $778. And said they were in the area so could do the work anyway. I would have never agreed to that travel charge. They are fast talkers and no pre written estimate - I should have asked for that first so my bad for trusting. them. Dont use them!!!
This summer we got our check list done with the excellent help from One Stop. They continue to assist us with a variety of home tasks, always politely and trustworthy. We are so fortunate to have this area service!
I have relied on One Stop for almost 30 years for small to huge jobs, for emergencies and routine jobs. For the most part, everything has been great. Their model works--"one stop." You tell them the problem and they get the right people there to fix it. You might have a plumbing problem that needs 5 minutes from an electrician....you'll get both and you don't have to be the coordinator. Great company that can handle it all as their name says. Prompt to give repairs and resonable.
Very professional and thorough. We had them come out for two different jobs. The first was a main panel upgrade. They handled all the permitting and inspections without much hassle from my side and the folks that came out were efficient and made sure that we understood what exactly was needed on the job. The second was a roofing patch job after we had removed a chimney. The guys that came out did a great job with the framing and took extra care to make sure that the shingles matched.
