This visit felt like an expensive scam - the staff ran some tests for strep, did a covid and flu test (which I had already done at home) and told me there was nothing they could do and I should "wait out the cold" - 15 min appt. Do not go here if you have HDHP. Had my son visited 2 places recently for the same illness (unknown virus induced fever). Under same insurance and similar treatment. Medical center/urgent care in San Carlos charged only 400 and one medical here with membership charged over 800. No detailed items were listed and the administration office put blame on HDHP. The clinic repeatedly promised a follow up was free of charge, but I was charged for a visit anyways! This is a dishonest clinic in terms of price transparency and do not recommend you trust anything related to billing with them. Will not come back again.
I had a great experience with Dr. June-Ho Kim. He was very attentive to my needs and was open to new treatments as they became available. Also, the blood work was done right there on-site, so it was super convenient. Would highly recommend.
