Some of the leasing agents here will straight out ask you how much money you have in your account before filling out any paperwork and not being able to give you correct information on what kind of accounts can be used for verifications. “you could have five dollars for all i know”. — direct quote. Unfortunate that such unwelcoming unprofessional people are employed there since the building is so nice. What a shame.
Living in this apartment community has been a truly great experience. One of the things I appreciate the most is how quickly maintenance issues are handled. Any request I’ve submitted has always been addressed very promptly, and everything has been taken care of to my complete satisfaction. Summary: Pro: Great staff, the best sound proofing I had amongst all apts I have lived in, got all of my deposit back, and preferred employer credit. It does not smell like smoke, weed, or pet urine which is hard to find these days. Con: The building itself is not exactly new, so minor problems such as stuck windows existed. However, nicely remodeled. If I happen to get Chicago bases again, I would 100% come back here.
My boyfriend and I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment at one Arlington in July of this year. After just about 6 months of living here, we can confidently say we love it and would recommend anyone to live here. Essentially, the only thing that the building is missing is a pool- which let's be real, how many months out of the year would we get to use it anyways? Maybe 3? It's Chicago.
