If you are new to the area or just looking for an electric company do not get ONCOR. I’ve only been here for 4 months and my electricity has been down 9 times now. It can be hot outside, the slightest of wind or ran you will be out of power. But the bill is super high even when the power keeps going out. I have children youngest being 1 with no family to go to that’s close. And on top of everything you can’t even get them on the phone. Worst electric company hands down.

These people always tell us our side of town doesn’t effect anything important so we’re the last people to get lights back after something like this it’s ridiculous it might not effect big companies but it effects everyday people on one end of our street there’s a lady with a newborn and on the other two elderly people who need oxygen but that doesn’t matter right as long as all the big companies are up and running our block has been without lights since 11:30 last night and they still say they don’t have a time for us to be... read more

Farmers Electric Cooperation is below zero. Swepco, Bowie Cass are excellent competitors for their knowledge is outstanding, as reliable to have.

Our electric went out, employee finally got it fixed and decided to pull my meter although it had nothing to do with the electricity going out. He reported that I had to trim a tree before he would put the meter back so I had the tree cut down and now I will be charged $110.00 to put the meter back, whenever they decide to do so.
