Has the worst customer service and you have to jump through hoops just to fix something that you know will be done in 10-15 mins max even if you’re in an emergency area. Oncor will always be horrible, thanks.
These people are the most inept people I've ever dealt with. I started a new build and tried to get electric services started THREE WEEKS AGO and they have repeatedly told me "yOu aLReAdY hAvE a MEtER" when I have even sent picture proof that I don't. They sent a technician out to even verify I didn't have a meter and the meter number they are reading for my property actually belongs to a neighbor and somehow that report got "fiLeD iNCoRreCtLY" so now it will be another two weeks before they will send a technician to "vERiFy... read more
Oncor is by far one of the worst companies I have ever experienced. I'm getting the siding replaced on my barn and I've been trying for over a week now to get the meter disconnected so we can change the paneling on that part of the barn. I have called and messaged them at least 4-5 times throughout this process. A technician hasn't even called me to just SCHEDULE the disconnect. Absolutely ridiculous. I certainly wish we could change our electrical meters to another company. These guys are the worst. -10 stars.
