Oncor is the worst Service provider I have ever had for maintaining the power lines!! (We Need to return to a Co-Op they give a damn for their Customers, & make sure you have service, & not charge you for the lack of it!) Oncor has cost me over $20,000 in repairs in the first 2 years, & still having issues WOW. I had to buy a generator just to make sure I would be able to have anything! Got the green tag pass from inspection, my electrician got that email immediately, Oncor said it'd take up to 24 hours to get that notice. Also had to call up TXU to get a reconnect notice sent to Oncor and Oncor said that because they didn't get the green tag notice with it (after hours of calling and no AC for days) that I needed to call TXU and request another reconnect notice. $200+ in groceries gone I have a 13 year old son, pets and my Mentally disabled brother-in-law there and they're telling me to go to families hous... read more

Is there a way to do less than one star?!? I was without power for 3 days because their transformer had a leg fail. I tried calling them with no success, so called TXU and they reached Oncor. They came out, fixed the leg, then proceeded to remove my meter because it was old. Would not put it back until I replaced the box. i had to pay over $600 to get the box replaced, then Oncor took 3 days to send someone out to replace the meter!! No AC in Texas is bad! Going on 3 days of no power now. Crazy as hell that most people in my neighborhood have power but I don't. These people are shams. Disabled their phone system so you can't even speak to a person. Disabled general inquiries. Zero phone numbers get you to a person. Lost 300$ in groceries bc of these people. Estimate time of power restoration: "We do not have a Estimated time when power will be restored" on their website. But hey they made sure to put that my power bill is up more than last week. The worst service in history. If a storm shuts your power off, don’t expect your power to be on for the next 12-24 hours.
