Powers been out all day. I just bought groceries for all my meal prepping and prepped everything. Everything is ruined. But that’s life. The real reason I’m leaving this review is because there’s not been 1 update. No communication or anything. It’s been a whole day. Trying to calm them and can’t get ahold of them to save my life. We noticed that our lights were flickering inside our home. I called the outage number for Oncor and explained our problem but told them there was no rush. Oncor had an electrician at our home within a couple of hours to investigate. Upon diagnosis, it was determined that the transformer up on the electrical pole needed replacement, so the electrician called it in and a crew came out to help him put on a new one. You’re doing work on MY driveway to replace a cable, but didn’t inform me, because it’s on the easement, but you blocked my driveway all day to do this. What sense does that make? You could’ve informed us ahead of time of the work you planned to do so that I could move my car to a place where I could easily access it, but I guess common courtesy isn’t in the vocabulary of the nincompoops that work for this company. Unbelievable.
This company is absolutely terrible. Not sure which location. Would give 1/2 a star if possible. Apparently their installers get paid for driving to the site - even if they can create an excuse for doing no work. If you happen to read this post please save your mind and DO NOT use Gexa or Oncor if you can find another option. Gexa is even worse…
No matter what kind of storm we have, the power goes out!!! It’s SO frustrating!!! Oncor service is expensive and completely unreliable!!! Absolutely horrible!!!
