I decided to go on here and check the reviews since it's been such a fiasco getting through to the office on too many occasions; again this morning. Dr. Raakhit is great but I rarely get to see him as I typically have to see the NP and him 4-6 months later. When I call, the phone always goes to an answering service it seems. After battling pancreatic cancer for over two years, I have lost the fight. I am currently receiving palliative care. I was given weeks to live, but I know it will be days, as I cannot eat; my digestive system is completely damaged. The Drs and Nurses and Practitioners are great, unfortunately all that goodwill goes down the drain due to the Clinics HORRIBLE, ROTTEN,UNRESPONSIVE PHONE SYSTEM, I have called in at least 5 times only to never never never receive a call back. Almost all if not all calls are routed through an answering service that takes messages, says someone will call back, then nobody calls back EVER! My husband received treatment here. They billed us $5k and took their time billing insurance. Then my husband was hospitalized and died. I had to pay another $5k to the hospital because the insurance didn't think I hit my out of pocket max. I've been calling for a month to get a refund and I've been completely ignored with bills piling up.
So I’ve been going to this office since 2017 when I found out had breast cancer I have never had any problem until now. I have congested heart failure due to the chemo treatment. My heart function is at 25%. My iron level is at at 8, which is very low. Which can weaken my heart evening more. I needed an iron infusion ASAP. My insurance approved my iron infusions, but the Office deny my iron infusion because I owe $150. I only owe $150 because they under charge me my co-pays from 2022 until 2024.
