A Grandparents Dream What a great kids store! We are grandparents for the first time... of course as any grandparents know, you have to have all the stuff that mom has. We want the baby to stay with us so we needed a stroller, bouncer seat, etc. We were so lucky to purchase these from our store in Schererville. We purchased an Eddie Bauer stroller at an unbelievable price and it looked like new. We were able to get a basic bouncer seat as well as a portable crib. Our daughter was so jealous! The good and the bad! You can get deals here, but don't expect thrift store prices here! Also, they are extremely picky about the items they take. I guess it depends on the amount inventory they have when you go in. It can be frustrating though.
Love Once Upon A Child in Schererville! Fab Store! It has brand name kids items like clothes and toys and saves our family money! We've been shopping there for our 3 kids for 8 years! love it!
high prices I think their prices are very high for a resale shop. I may be a bit bitter because I brought some things in to sale that were either brand new with tags ar new without tags and ralized that they only offered me cash for the items without tags!! I tend to believe this had something to do with my race because once I looked through the store, the items they were offering were FAR lower quality than mine.
Nice stuff but a bit pricy for a resale shop Over all the items they have are very nice, however I think that for a resale shop their items are priced a little too high, especially if you are on a budget. But if you are looking for something for a special occation, but can't afford normal retail prices this is definately a great alternative.
Great Kids Retail Shop I found this store while coming out of Starbuck's and thought I would go in a take a look around. I found some items for my son that were still brand new. Gap and Old Navy items seem to be in abundance and you definately can't beat the price compared to retail. Even items that have been worn are very gently used and in great condition.
