Great Place to shop I read the reviews here and went to this store with trepidation. I've been to many OUAC before, and this was tops. It was a Thursday about 3 pm, so I think we were lucky, but the place was clean, uncrowded, there were not bags and bags of stuff all over, and my daughter found great stuff (size 10) at great prices. We loved it!
I love the new store! I really like the bigger location they moved into next door. It's spacious, clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Remember, if you are annoyed and rude, you aren't encouraging kind behavior in return.
Get a life I used to work at OUAC, it isn't the employees that price your items, its the computer system. Granted, some people are rude, but where ever you go, people are rude, it's just different days. You won't sell everything you bring in, it's just way too much. Yes, sometimes there are stacks of clothes piled high, that's because we're busy with customers, buying items, or running the back. upset momma people there ARE rude and for the person that said try working that long with only a little break... i do!!!! working in the medical field is way harder than sorting things !!!! i feel that it is a lot of scamming!! asking almost the retail price and accepting crap with stains on it even... i have great things that sell like crazy on ebay but hardly ever at ouac... no reason for the rudeness ever... customers come first and there... we don't even place
Once Upon A Child is not a good place to work for the people that think the employees at once upon a child are rude, well try working 8-10 hours with only one break the whole day. Usually 10-15 min after working non stop hard labor. You complain about not getting paid much for your clothes well they don't pay their employees much either. Once upon a child has a high turn over rate and its not because of the customers.
Wonderful place! I love once upon a child! I am always treated kindly when I go there. I have sold a few toys there most of my daughter's clothes go to my pregnant friends who are all having girls! I'm always treated courteously and I return the favor. The ladies who work there are constantly going through people's used items and are under a lot of pressure to handle many tasks at once. Very rude staff I will not go back due to the rude staff. The prices are too high for used items. They have no concept of the cost of items. Why pay retail for used items. They are a scam to the buyer who does not shop at gap, children's place etc. You can get things on sale cheaper than once upon a child.
Great bargins at a mildly retarded cost! I love Once Upon a Child! With 3 kids of my own trying to keep them in clothes is ridiculous... I feel like like I get such good deals at once upon. I hate paying too much for my kids clothes when they are usually stained, lost or used in a science experiment within two weeks of my kids having them! Once Upon A Ripoff! The staff are usually very rude here. I always find really cute stuff here but a lot it is way overpriced for being used! Once in a while you can find good deals but your better off getting on craigslist or going yardsailing!
