At first, i was disappointed with the service when i came in to trade some clothes. As i brought in three boxes, only a few were picked. The owner noticed my two star rating and messaged me to find out why and what she could to better the service in her store. I explained to her why i gave that rating and she was concerned, as a decent owner and manager should be. What a great store!! The employees were so nice and helpful. I didn't bring anything in to sell this visit because I wasn't sure how it worked. The sales associate took the time to explain the process to me even though she was very busy helping other customers. I really appreciated it. I did however buy some of the cutest things. I will definitely be telling my family and friends about this great store.

As an experienced seller to Once Upon a Child Durham, I love the concept of basically "trading in" my child's clothes that no longer fit for clothes that are in style and are in top condition. I understand that the clothing that I am selling goes directly to the sales floor to be sold and that I cannot bring clothes wrinkled in bags - I take the clothes in the best possible condition to receive top consideration. Brought clothes in today. Didn't know they had to be in boxes. So sorry but maybe you should post it. Also didn't deserve the employee who sucked her teeth at me, rolled her eyes and passed me off to another employee. That employee told me I'd get a call in 45 minutes to an hour. Then when I went back they offer less than $2 for brand new with tags items. Told the clothes were stained and out of style. Still can't find the 4T outfits I brought in. I know there were only about 5 of them in a separate bag but they only returne... read more
