Gary knows cars, knows the industry, knows people! My family take our 5 cars to him and his team. He has succesfully managed his business throughout significant world turmoil and rarely slugged the customer with huge price increases, in fact he remains exrremely affordable. He is fair, takes phone calls promptly and communicates clearly everytime about his time capacity and mechanical needs of the car; even making extra time in his day to accomodate crisis or MY slackness in organisation. I had a very poor experience at ON-Track Automotive and would not recommend this place. The service was extremely slow and disorganised and the owner was so adamant. I was kept waiting far longer than promised with no proper explanation. It honestly felt like customers are made to wait just to give the impression that they’re busy, rather than actually managing jobs efficiently. The attitude was just as bad. Gary and his mechanic were outstanding. My 1998 Holden Rodeo broke down on it’s way to South Australia. I was exactly what Gary didn’t need one week before Christmas. Complete clutch replacement and a replacement steering arm which probably saved my life. I was back on the road in two days. Absolute legends !
