On the Water in Maine was a great find for us. We rented the Golden Owl for an extended winter stay while our house was being renovated, and it ended up being our home for those months rather than a typical vacation. From 2014 through 2025, my husband and I brought our children to Maine every summer for a weeklong family vacation. We stayed at Lake Escape and it was a wonderful experience. My husband treated me to this week as my work has been stressful lately and this was such a refreshing, fun, and relaxing time. The cleaners that made the house lovely prior did very well and we left a rewarding tip! When we went to their office to get some more towels we met the owner inside and she was very kind and polite she explained what she does there. We told her we would be back and recommend to our friends! Thank you OTWIM!

I had a fantastic stay with On The Water In Maine. We stayed at Safe Harbor and couldn’t be more thrilled with the whole vacation! The staff at OTWIM was very attentive to our needs, and answered all our questions effectively. The place was super clean upon arrival, and there was no issues with checking out. Highly Recommend!
