absolutely terrible and unprofessional regarding marking facilities, bummer i cant select zero stars. Holding up jobs were contracted for due to not having the intelligence to have enough field staff. amateur hour
On the Spot recently took over for locating Comcast lines. We (like many other contractors) run a very tight installation schedule. I have only had one ticket that was completed on time by this company. Every other ticket has had AT LEAST one delay, some delayed to the point where I have to call in a second remark (due to the ticket expiring) for the other utilities. This company never responds to emails or phone calls. We have some projects in Indiana, and the locating process takes a very long time.
On The Spot had a Tech on Dixie hwy yesterday locating utilities for Duke. The tech parked in the front lot of my manufacturing plant clearly in the path employees and customers that would come and go from the site. And not surprisingly when one of the employees were leaving for the day he accidently backed into the On The Spot service truck. This company "supposedly" locates for Comcast but when you call their customer service number it goes to an answrering machine. Three days later I'm still waiting for a call. I even filled out their on line form for a locate ticket. Dead silence for 72 hours. If you're thinking of using this company be aware of the "service" they supply to people who need assistance. My excavation work starts today and this company failed to do their job as required, Sure hope we don't hit the Comcast line during out work.
