Ridiculous amount of time were wasted when we were here and we never really regretted any minute of it. The fun starts when the bar opens.Â
This is a good local chain if you're in the mood for mexican. Take the family, it won't break the bank.Â
Decent enough. – I try to avoid chain restaurants if I can but it was late, it was raining, and we didn't want to drive around all over the place. By biggest complaint with On The Border was the service - we were seated promptly enough, but it took forever for the server to bring chips and salsa, and take our drink order. Once she delivered the food, we didn't see her until she brought the check. And honestly, would it really hurt to smile once in a while?? OTB's menu was extensive. I went for the fish tacos, and liked them ... read more
Out of Business – Went out of business in January 2007, a casualty of the cut-throat Peachtree City restaurant business (and especially fickle Peachtree City diners). Uninspired food, and they never advertised. Many folks weren't aware that they had closed.Â
WOW – The best mexican food in Rogers Arkansas. Be hungry when you go. They have a friendly and service orientated staff.Â
Needs a management overhawl – Had to come back and edit this review. They have really taken a turn for the worse. My wife ordered the Big Borderito...and it came out in less than 2 minutes... no joke. It was also cold! Obviously, they just grabbed a burrito that someone returned and sent it our way. We also ordered tacos and they came out so soggy that they fell apart. The issue with the tacos happened at least 4 times between my first review and now. It's a shame because I really liked this place, but I won't be coming back... read more
Same old thing – If you're looking for a cool place to go have a couple of beers, munch on some chips with "salsa" and just have an average "mexican" dinner, this is your place. However, if you like the authentic tasty mexican food, you're better off driving a few more miles and going to any taqueria in homestead... They're just like Chevy's or any other americanized mexican food. Oh, and get ready to wait on line.Â
Mexican? – I've tried this place on several occasions hoping for satisfaction and I must say that I gave up. On every visit, food was bland and seemed to be right out of the microwave. Service was nothing to brag about and most visits were not during peak hours. For this place to be considered #1 makes it obvious most folks in South Florida have never tasted real authentic Mexican cuisine.Â
