As much as I would like to provide a positive review… after ordering and paying around $600 for a piece with a 4 week lead time quote, I am now going on 9 weeks with nothing, and no update as to what to expect. No update on shipment, no proactive outreach from the business a single time, I tried for 4 days calling to get someone who was “a manager” to finally be available and call me back, all to say “the artist is busy and behind”. My wife and I will always go by here when we visit Tahoe. The merchandise is unlike any other store locally, and the people working there are incredibly helpful and kind. Unique, hand-crafted decor. I want it all.
They have a section of candles with very nice scents. I accidntally bought the wrong scent and the staff were very helpful with exchanging it for the one I wanted. The art pices they have for sale are very interesting. Besides maps they had some Star Wars themed pices when we visited that I liked, as well as carved wood mushrooms.
I fell in love with the 3D maps and purchased one representing my heritage, the Philippines and my husband’s Norway. Sydney did a fantastic job explaining my options. She looked up a few different maps for Norway and we ultimately picked the one the showed the outer islands, Sweden and Finland. I was also able to get it shipped to Seattle. I haven’t decided yet to get one of the Puget Sound but that might be a good excuse to return.
