A toenail-clipping specialist registered nurse regularly goes to the nursing home where my elderly mother resides. The nurse clips Mom's toenails according to a schedule even though Mom does not have diabetes. Mom does have very thick toenails requiring special tools not available to the PSWs in this LTC home.
