The only unknown was the condition of the plywood under the old shingles, as it turned out I only had to replace some boards on the garage. James from on Pitch Roofing is the reason you need to get three quotes. He was my last quote and I was thinking he was going to say the same thing as the first two, that I needed a new roof. But he didn't! He gave me an estimate to do the capping and did the job that same week. He also emptied my gutters and fixed a few loose shingles. My wife and I had a situation where racoons tried getting into our attic by tearing up the shingles in a few spots. We went online to find a reputable roofer and after looking thru some sites we called upon three different companies. They all showed up and we discussed what was needed.
