Just awful. Brought my MacGregor 26X to them the first week of August following a May Day event on the July long weekend. They said they were slow; estimate right away, work the following week. Nearly three weeks later still no estimate; I had to hound them for it. Sent the estimate into the insurance company and they were slow in responding. I am not sure where to start. I suppose this is a message is to Brad more than a review at this point. I called and talked to your secretary and asked if "you" could call me , so I could share my experience. However Prudence called me back. I told her I did not wish to speak with her, she was already aware of the issues I had and they were numerous, and major. I also told her that I wished to speak with you and you only. I had to deal with the Boat Yard a couple months ago under a very sketchy situation. I approached them without any knowledge of their work or business dealings and the response I received totally blew me away. In this day and age it's more common to expect that you're going to get ripped off, especially when seeking assistance about something you have no knowledge of, like me. On Board Marine is transitioning into "The Blaine Shipyard". Brad and his team at TBS are great people to trust your boat with. Almost everyone is ALWAYS smiling (even in February) and they're super polite. I had my SJ28 hauled out for bottom paint and zincs. Once the boat was out of the water, there were a couple of additional details that needed attention. But no one pressured me whatsoever to address them, they were simply pointed out once.
