Today, my friend Katie, and I went to honest shoestring for a fun, antique adventure! We really enjoyed looking around. There’s lots to see, variety of items, and many different small rooms filled with treasures! Today everything in the store was 25% off, which we thought was a fun deal! Great antique store with lots of vintage home decor, dishes, glassware, and more! The entire store was 25% off, and I found a pair of glass ducks that I had to bring home. I will definitely be coming back!
I don’t mean to be unkind, but I honestly don’t understand how this place is still open for business. The structure feels very unstable, with large holes in the ceiling and walls (for any weather and/or animal to enter) and the floors do not feel safe at all. No way in the world would I venture to the top floor. I couldn’t get out of there quickly enough. It is packed to the rafters in dusty, overpriced things that weren’t worth a trip to see. This building needs to be condemned. Maybe this was unkind, but honest.
They have a good, & large selection. However, (And this would be the only time I would say this) It was way, way, to much! And priced way to high! Literally everything I picked up had spider webs, a thick coat of dust and a faded price tag. They really need a purge sale, a deep cleaning and to be re-merchadise! BADLY. Prices are ridiculously high! One picture frame had a bargain hut sticker on it for $3 and they had it priced at $25!! 😭😭😭 I only gave one star bc the owner was so nice! The poor house is falling apart! Which is fine ig if you’re not concerned about falling through a floor. I was super excited about seeing this place but was severely let down.
