This is an edit of my previous review. Dr. Shah went to St. George's University School of Medicine. The doc was great in the beginning ... a bit of gaslighting and complaining of patients and the insurance industry. Been here two years in a row for an annual physical. The doctors changed their practice mirror concierge medical care ... b/c insurance wasn't paying them enough. Those were the words of the doctor. I appreciate Dr. Shaw’s willingness to provide prescriptions and how easy he is to work with. However, I felt that my visits were somewhat rushed, with minimal discussion of my concerns. While I went to him for an annual checkup and as a strategist to help me fight Lymes, and all he really did was take my blood pressure and heart rate, I didn’t feel like I was getting the depth of care I needed for long-term health management. Honestly, Kayur Shah is so rude and constantly overbooks himself through zocdoc. He made me reschedule my 8:30 am appointment to 10:30am and then reschedule that appointment to 12:00pm. Keep in mind he has all of these time slots plus more still open on zocdoc. When you speak to Kayur he will rush you through the appointment and tell you that your insurance is not very good every time you meet with him. Literally everytime. Dr. Kayur Shah - Visited him with an appointment to get checked on acid reflux and stomach pain. Overall, I had a bad experience. He was inattentive and dismissive. The appointment started with him being late. While I was trying explain my pain and what I was experiencing, he was busy chatting on WhatsApp on some personal stuff and was getting so anxious for some household issue.
