This turns out really well, but, I recently complained about the constant changes to my weekly home care service. I was never contacted about time or staff changes unless it meant a benefit to the senior manager to hold a meeting. I was told to wait up to 5 hours for a service that may not even show up, spoken down to and had no regular carers, quite frankly I felt like a discarded post it note for this person. My Uncle uses Omnicare and has done for many years. He’s case manager is Connie. She is fabulous with him and gives him a great amount of support and care. I’ve been in hospital recently and it’s been comforting to know he is being looked after.

Love most of the support workers they have, except for a few. The good ones are friendly, passionate, and professional. Omni-Care trains and ensures every support worker uses their own gloves and shoe covers. They have good communication and responsiveness, always updating me if a support worker has been rostered or not. The only gripe I have is the lack of flexibility in changing care support time, especially in unforeseen circumstances.

Terrible! My late sister-in-law was paying $240 for 2 hours cleaning per week, yet her home was filthy and like a squalor! Cat pooh everywhere, cobwebs on the walls and ceilings, dust everywhere, bathrooom and toilet and carpets were filthy, plus the clutter that was in the house was horrific! Unfortunately my late sister-in-law was blind. It is terrible that these businesses abuse our elderly and disabled in this way!
