Discovered this hidden gem on our last day of our trip. Loved the masala tea and the goat curry was bomb!! By far the best tasting goat curry we’ve had so far. A must try for folks who like mutton/goat meat. The veggie samosa was delicious too. It was baked but tasted as good as traditionally fried samosas. I asked if the chai was authentic, and the owner assured me it was. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more of a chai-flavored mix with milk and sugar rather than traditionally brewed chai. As someone from India, I was really disappointed, especially since I was genuinely craving proper chai. If you’re looking for authentic Indian chai, this probably isn’t the place for it.
Naomi is an absolute gem - warm, welcoming and a wonderful woman owned small business owner who truly cares about the food she serves. You can tell she puts heart, knowledge, and pride into every dish. The food is cooked fresh to order, delicious, authentic, flavourful and made with real care. Fair portions, great quality and the kind of food that keeps people coming back. There’s a reason why she’s been here for a long time. Skip the competition, you won’t regret it!
