This so called doctor lied and just abandoned my son with cancer. He supposedly works with UCSF and communicates with real doctors there. That was a lie. We had to contact them ourselves and he had the audacity to ask my wife to give his # to the doctor there so he could be informed. He did nothing for his last 4 months alive . No treatment no advice. Don’t let this guy treat anyone you love.
Couldn't have asked for a more compassionate group of individuals. Dr Ilyas always addressed any concerns and was great at explaining treatment. He has an amazing team that I felt was respectful and caring as my mother's condition changed. His nurse navigator (Camy) was instrumental in my mother's treatment in helping with communication across multiple medical facilities as well as being a great support emotional. In my opinion her role is critical and they are extremely fortunate to have someone like her on staff.
I have seen a few oncologists due to a recent cancer diagnosis, and Doctor Omer Ilyas made me feel very comfortable as I was asking tons of questions. He is very knowledgeable and has a great positive attitude and approach of things, making this cancer experience more smooth! Thank you Dr. Ilyas!
