please don't send your kids here. this place was terrible. I went here about 7 years ago and it still haunts me. I was so badly harassed by the other girls. being told to kill myself in front of staff and staff encouraged the bad behavior. the staff would actually pull me aside to tell me what other terrible things the kids were saying about me. I was only 13, and to this day I'm working on extreme social anxiety due to the unimaginable bullying I faced by the staff and other kids.
I was a resident from 2006-2007. That was when the program was privately owned. Our Director, B, spent much money on us clients. We went places and did things. I graduated, and shortly thereafter, it became part of VOA. Sad, but I had a blast, during those months.
