They destroy the ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay by over-fishing it. They have put several species of fish on the edge of extinction. They need to be stopped!

This company has been and continues to do more damage to our ocean's ecosystems than ever other company in the USA combined. They have zero morals or consciousness. Anyone working for or with them should be ashamed of themselves.

Governors in nine states along the Atlantic coast are urging the Trump Administration to stop a company that makes fish-oil supplements and other products from fishing in Virginia waters. A letter sent Friday from those governors echoes concerns of fishing regulators who say Omega Protein defied harvest limits in the Chesapeake Bay.

In 2013 this company was charged for two violations of the Clean Water Act stemming from its activities in the menhaden fishing industry. Omega was sentenced to 3 years of probation and financial penalties totaling $7.5 million. They were found guilty of violations again in 2016 Now they are ignoring recommendations to help protect the Chesapeake Bay! Respect our waters and stop harming our bay!
