The fact that I would prefer to drive the 90 minutes to keep him as my physician as opposed to finding a new one in my new area says it all.

Realistic, investigative approach to health issues.
My husband and I both adore and value Dr. Villanueva. Dr. V is kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. I have recommended him to many friends with the utmost confidence in my decision. If you are looking for an excellent physician that treats you more like a person than the next "patient" he is seeing, then I highly recommend him to you as well.
When I went in for my visit, everything seemed normal. I had mentioned that a member in my family (a newly graduated nurse) had suggested what my symptoms were. Dr. Villanueva admitted that he wasn't sure what diagnosis to give me and then listed off several possibilities ranging from "may go away on its own" to CANCER. I was referred to a specialist and was told what symptoms would require an ER visit if they worsened. My specialist was very confident in the diagnosis of a mild abnormality that was treated with antibiotics.... read more
