We were referred by another ophthalmologist and the referring Dr's office made the appt. We were assured everything was good to go, including my mom's insurance. When we arrived we completed all the paperwork and provided my mom's insurance cards. Two months later we got a bill for $925.00! I contacted the referring Dr, because they made the appt, and they reaffirmed that they were told mom's insurance was good. Technicians and staff were nice; however Dr. Omar Ahmad was not. He hurt my eye during his exam and was not sincere or caring in the least way. He wanted to perform surgery that day, without me even understanding what my condition was. The technicians took addition images of my eye and could not find what he was stating the problem was. This left me feeling insecure and untrusting.
I had the first appt for the day at 9. I arrived at 8:45 and was seen by the tech at 9 and in the exam room at 9:15. At 10 I told the front desk I needed to leave for another appt. She thought I had been seen and had no explanation. She was not sure what to do. She had had someone ask when Dr. Ahmad would be in and she said he should be in about 9. Needless to say Dr. Ahmad had other priorities than my appt. I will find someone who values my time.
I was very apprehensive during my initial appointment, but Dr. Ahmad and his staff put me at ease very quickly. I left knowing that I was in good hands and would receive outstanding care.

He is a great doctor. Would highly recommend him to anybody. He is very professional, explains every thing to you, and answers all your questions.
