I was referred to Dr. Beidas through my insurance as an in-network provider, and I was informed that my procedure would be covered under the terms of my policy. However, when I contacted the office to schedule a consultation, I had a disappointing experience with the patient coordinator, Marissa. Without reviewing my insurance details or fully understanding my specific situation, I was told that the procedure is considered “cosmetic” under Dr. Beidas’ practice and therefore not eligible for coverage. I had a great experience with Dr. Beidas and the staff! Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure all of my questions were answered thoroughly. Upon first meeting Dr Beidas, I was very nervous, thinking he wouldn’t even consider doing excess skin surgery on me because of my age. I was 57 years old, so I was afraid I wouldn’t be a good candidate.Thankfully, that was not the case.
