I had a different experience with the staff than some have shared in reviews - they helped me a lot and showed that they care. I am a patient of Dr. Awar's. He advised me that under certain conditions, I should come to the office to be seen. Those conditions presented themselves, and I went, however, he was not in that day - everyone needs a day off! My mother was seen last week and the girl in the front was forcing my mom to check in thru the iPad after my mom told her she couldn’t do it, my mom is an older lady so working around a tablet is very difficult and someone could have assisted her. This has nothing to do with Dr Awar. For some reason his staff refuses to return phone calls ‘still waiting to hear from them. Unfortunately I will need to find a new doctor. Fortunately I don’t have any medical issues but dang if I did it would be horrible!
Doctor Omar Awar is a great Cardiologist to me. I have learned more with him in a one day visit then I have had with others in the last 10 years. He is definitely knowledgeable, polite, and proactive. I have had 2 other cardiologists before him and he Is the one I would have definitely picked. I will recommend him to family and friends.
Dr. Awar is a really good doctor.
