I have been a member of OBW Fitness for several years and love it! The environment and small group structure is welcoming and very supportive. The instructor is professional and meets you where you are at, while offering encouragement and motivates you on your fitness/wellness/health journey. Throughout the years I have practiced martial arts at a variety of martial arts studios, all of which have been good experiences. Overall I would extend my highest marks to Omaha Blue Waves. More specifically, the owners and instructors are very conscientious with regard to everyone’s personal safety, displaying respect for all, and providing the proper training for each individual.

Our family has been members for years. One of the things we love about OBW is how everyone is made to feel like they are part of something larger. The customer service is amazing and the classes are well above average. The staff makes a point to be available to all of the members and parent members. We truly appreciate the focus on creating unique and positive classes. We love our OBW family!

The Taekwondo instructors did not “train” or “educate” new students. They basically threw them right into a group of more experienced kids - no background or education about anything. One instructor in particular, in fact he may be the owner, called my son out for something he didn’t do and embarrassed him so much he cried in the hallway and never wanted to go back. I was not impressed and would not recommend. It was a waste of money.
