My husband and I absolutely LOVED the birthing education class. Shannon and Andrea kept things fun and provided information clearly and concisely. They were fantastic at answering all questions under the sun, sharing personal experiences, and providing fair and balanced information.
Truly could not have had a better experience encapsulating my placenta. The process was so easy and stress-free. Omaha Birth and Babies picked up my placenta immediately following delivery and brought my capsules back to me three days later (to my home!!!). They provided a tincture mixture of my placenta and dried my umbilical cord! As someone who experienced PPA/PPD after my first, I really believe that taking the capsules this time around helped me mentally and physically. Omaha Birth and Babies was absolutely AMAZING to work with! The level of support and information received from Katie was impeccable. I can truly say I am so grateful for her and couldn’t have had the brith experience I wanted without her. I would recommend working with OBB, Katie specifically, to anyone who is expecting!
We highly recommend the doula experience, especially through Omaha Birth & Babies! This was our first and we had the best birthing experience - seriously all due to our doula! We worked with Danielle and she was amazing pre / during / post birth. Honestly, we learned so much about the birthing process through her. With her knowledge, we prepared an amazing birth plan and received the most amazing support during the birth. Highly highly recommend getting a doula and will sing Danielle’s praises forever!
This is long overdue but I can’t recommend Katie of Omaha Birth and Babies enough. We had her support for daytime postpartum where she was with us a few daytimes a week for several months postpartum. She’s grounded, kind, and knowledgable and she was critical in helping me with postpartum recovery and health issues and especially in addressing our baby’s difficulties with nursing and eating.
