My recent experience with OLYMPUS has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. The company's decision to cancel my policy solely based on the installation of a solar vent and a brand-new roof was completely unreasonable and unfair. Firstly, the solar vent and brand-new roof were both legitimate upgrades aimed at improving the energy efficiency and overall quality of my home. Insurance renewal went from $3200 a year to $10K!!! They offered no explanation beside rates in Florida went up. Needless to say, I switched.

This year my premium went up by $5,400. I was told this was because they had not billed my mortgage company for 18 months to reflect changes to my rate. This was done to offset the money that was not paid previously. This year I submitted my first claim due to Hurricane Ian. My claim approval was sent to me on November 6th.
