in the emergency room with my mom(84 yrs old) she was sent over from the walk in clinic (1000 ft away). She arrived at 230. It’s almost 5pm. She is suffering from excruciating back pain and abdominal pain. She has had only her BP and pulse taken. The room is full of people, including the admin main entrance. Unfortunately this is the only hospital in close proximity ( at least an hour in either direction) They haven’t done any renovations since I’ve been living here( 9 yrs) but the population has tripled. Went to emergency room yesterday with my with wife who needed an antibiotic. We are visiting from out of state. When we entered there were 3 parties waiting. After 2 and 1/2 hours, she finally went to have a CAT Scan- wasn’t really needed and seemed others waiting for same. We arrived in the ER at 9:00am it was now 11:30am. We waited another 2 and 1/2 hours to get results. A 6 hour visit for a script. Totally ridiculous. Absolutely sickening - my father in his early 60s has been waiting 3 YEARS to get a hip replacement, day after day i have to watch the amount of pain he has to go through, ACTUAL SCREAMING PAIN.. I am documenting everything I can. Tried calling only to get walled off because im not the patient themself. Actually disgusting behavior. Great job people, 3 years and cant get a disabled senior a hip replacement with a rotting hip. -Im leaving this review up forever so anyone with anything serious going on knows to get elsewhere
