No problems. Did Olympic use sub contractors in busy periods that generated the negative reviews?
It amazes me how someone can have a 1 star and I have a 5 star rating. I did my research and contacted many firms before I made my decision. The pricing was on target,, competitive pricing, and his service was outstanding. I had two rooms of carpeting, two rooms of laminated floors and tile in the entrance foyer installed. I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend this company.
Olympic tile has just completed a fully tiled shower in our bathroom using the Schluter System in our home as well as a tiled bathroom floor. We were extremely pleased with both Adam and Steve from the beginning to the end of this process. The Schluter system was explained to us and Steve visited our home to show us how it will work and called to check up on progress throughout the job. Two Words....STAY AWAY....Steve is a liar, and con artist. Gives one price and then bill comes in higher. The crew damaged walls, pictures, staircase and broke bed frame and a window....hard to prove....had to come back multiple times to fix carpet, still not resolved....going on a year. One star rating is too much for this business!
Original Post: Oct 2010: Stay away from these people. We recently hired them to refinish our floors. Steve, the owner promised "We don't use contractors like some companies, Some companies just send in crews and never tell you. Our own employees in our vehicles we be at your house" Lies, Lies and more lies. What should have taken 4-5 days put us out of our home for 29 Days. Steve said he would cover our expenses but when it came time to pay up, he and his wife (owner of business) said they would turn it over to their lawyer.... read more
