Well, I'm in the program, I have a live-in caregiver and they treat her right as far as hours. She does a lot for me but hard to put in words. The program for the aging is great.
Good luck getting ahold of a case manager or a Supervisor. 0 communication 0 help failing in so many areas. Completely incompetent and do minimal if any work. Stay far away from this agency for your own good and mental health
I called the Aberdeen location 5 times and could not have a simple question answered. The receptionist did not know the answer. In addition, the person who was suppose to know the answer never called me back. This was over a period of 3 weeks. In the past the women who was there did an excellent job. Very professional and knowledgeable, but sadly she is no longer there. I will call Olympia's office, hopefully they can help me.
I was very nervous about properly applying for Medicare. There are a lot of competing resources offering assistance. So who do I choose? Olympic Area Agency On Aging's David Aldrich. The office is modest in a generic building in eastern Aberdeen WA. The folks there are dressed in street clothes. There is nobody in a suit and tie here. I went in to get info on Senior Nutritional Farmer's Market Voucher Program The nice lady at the front desk Kala was very helpful gave me referrals & lots of information to take home. She was so nice, I'm new to the state WA she also gave me directions to the senior citizen program here in Aberdeen, WA great place for an older adult new in town! Great work! 🤗 thank you for everything you gave me.
