Food was really good! My only complaint is that the confit potatoes that came with my $55 braised ribs were undercooked. $1 oysters (Wednesdays): not for me, but my friends claim they're creamy and really good. Burrata salad, steak tartare, and Basque cheesecake: SO good. Would get again. My friends got the chicken thighs and fleischnaka and enjoyed them. One of them got the Financier dessert; they liked it, but I thought the muffin/cake was a bit dry.
The older gentleman who served me was polite and welcoming, and I could tell the food was made with fresh ingredients. For my taste, however, the Eggs Benedict sauce was a bit too sour, although I understand some people consider that the authentic flavor. What disappointed me most was the restaurant’s billing practice. Both the 20% service charge and the Employee Wellness Fee were automatically added to the bill, even though the receipt stated that customers could request to have them removed. Always a great spot for brunch! The atmosphere is great, service is on point, and the food is incredible! Tried the brown butter financier and it was incredible, the wine pairing was a bonus!!!
